Its that time of year again and London will soon be buzzing with design events. The London Design Festival is a great time to network, catch up with fellow designers and show some new work. This year you can see our work at the following events:

7 September – 20 October . domesticMATTERS . at Contemporary Applied Arts

Curated by Brian Kennedy and Peter Ting this exhibition addresses the link between contemporary craft makers and some of the most important design and manufacturing companies supporting contemporary British design. It is an exhibition with a mission; the ultimate goal is to stimulate and develop interaction between uniquely skilled designer makers, potential producers and retailers. A subject very close to our hearts.

We have designed a new console table Dexter for Benchmark. This is an elegant piece made from solid oak, beautifully executed as usual by the cabinet makers at Benchmark.

Also on display are our Flow side tables for Heal's and Cedric desk for SCP.

SCP - Design Department Store  

One of the great hubs of the Shoreditch design triangle and a company we've really enjoyed designing for over the last five years. They will be showing new additions to the Agnes range; a console table and mirror. And of course the store is always full of lovely covetable things, if you don't know it already we highly recommend you pay a visit.

20 – 23 September . Bodging Milano . at Designersblock, Southbank Centre

Following the success of the original Bodging Milano project in 2010, Sarah was one of a group of 9 designers invited to make a return trip to the idyllic greenwood workshop of Gudrun Leitz in Clissett Wood. Going back to basics each designer had the opportunity

to experience and learn the traditional craft of bodging through the construction of their own greenwood chair. Each design makes use of traditional outdoor chair-making techniques including steam bending, pole-lathing and hand tools.
